Holding History Keynote Event: “Shakespeare Reimagined,” Tues., 10/18 @ 5:30 PM

Students, university partners, and community members are invited to join us on October 18 at 5:30 pm for our next Holding History event. As part of the 2016 Shakespeare in Wisconsin celebration, this program invites participants to team up with student curators and rare book experts for a hands-on exploration of works like Holinshed’s Chronicles (1577), Plutarch’s Lives of the Noble Grecians and Romans (1579), Topsell’s History of Four-Footed Beasts (1608), as well as eighteenth- to twentieth-century re-imaginings of the Bard’s plays.
